Custom Wine Cellar Design Service

If you are considering building a wine cellar of your own, Wild Grapes provides a custom wine cellar design service to guide and support you expertly through the process. Since poorly designed wine storage and modular ‘push together’ racking solutions will take no account of the natural contours and features of your room, our wine cellar design process ensures that the final product is aesthetically ‘interesting’, as well as versatile and practical. Principally this covers two main areas:

Wine Cellar Racks
Wine Cellar Cooling

Whether you aspire to create an air-conditioned showcase wine cellar on a large scale, or something more modest and functional, our experienced and well-informed approach will fulfill your expectations at every level.

If you are starting from scratch, or wish to renovate an existing space, spare room or outbuilding, there are a number of elements that the essential wine cellar will need to consider. In fact, building a wine room could not be more straightforward with Wild Grapes’ wine cellar design service detailed below in 4 quick steps:

Wild Grapes’ 4-step guide to creating your own custom wine cellar / wine room

Step 1
Download, complete and submit our Wine Cellar Design Questionnaire. This short document enables us to understand the type of wine cellar design that you are looking to create (showcase / functional), the nature of your wine collection, the structural challenges of the room and everything else in between! Download our questionnaire.

Step 2
We will provide a fully-detailed and costed proposal from the information that you provide. Our design team will review your questionnaire and make contact by telephone or email in order to iron out any additional questions. Occasionally site visits are requested by the client or simply become necessary where a challenging technical question arises.

Step 3
We will commence work on your wine cellar. Upon acceptance of our proposal, wine cellar construction begins. Racks are built in-house by qualified craftsmen at our workshops in West Sussex. Project timelines and points of contact are always agreed prior to the start of the cellar build, in order to ensure continuity and smooth progression throughout.

Step 4
Your wine cellar / wine room installation. Your vision is brought to life at this stage- we install the racks ready for the arrival of your wines! The wine cellar installation is invariably carried out by the same engineers who build the racks. Our engineers take great pride in their work and will endeavour to work closely with clients to ensure that the solution meets their expectations and as well as their needs.
