Wild Grapes wine racks and wine cellars are designed to provide unparalleled durability and total security.

Contrary to the widely available, flat-packed pine and galvanized steel wine racks, our racks are constructed using three fully-welded steel frames that are capable of withstanding several tons of load.

Frames are braced to each other and neat rear mounted brackets allow the units to be secured to the wall against which they stand. It is our belief that complete security of a wine collection can only be achieved when a wine rack is constructed and installed in this way.

One of the most important aspects of wine preservation is the prevention of wine oxidization; most commonly caused by fluctuating temperatures and cork shrinkage.

A practical method to alleviate this is to store the bottle in a horizontal position, and more critically, on a slight downward gradient beyond the horizontal. This oblique angle ensures that the wine always stays in contact with the cork and significantly lessens the chance of the cork drying out.
